Since the 2008 crisis, politics have been globally handling regulations of finances internally and globally, as well as have adjusted financial governance to the effects of worldwide macroeconomic conditions. We still have not understood that we need genuine systemic change to live in a world that can provide societies what they need to thrive, and first by curbing climate change. 2020-2021 are still bringing new questions and realizations about the genuine state and missing logistics inside our politics. Those times have also unveiled how different populations can take the brunt of responsibility, and make genuine unsuspected social efforts to deal with the pandemic. Some regions have even gone along with steps and measures sliding towards repression. It has been actually the lack of preparation and instant response to the spread of the epidemy that has led to a pandemic. Science experts warned about it and were not taken seriously. Instead, politics and economists took the lead and responded with actions and rules in a field that was not theirs. This is where the rise of technology has been a blessing. AI has the potential to adapt to all rich and less rich economies, for democracies to strengthen and modernize national policy frameworks, through proper international concertation. What changed the international scene has been the emergence of new severe ecological events. Unfortunately, the rise of influence in social networks has completely changed the rules. Because of think tanks' strategic moves on these networks over global communities, science has lost credibility. Populism and political extremisms have played a toll on our modern societies. Added to the widening gap in wealth, the spreading waves of migrations, and then the health issues of pandemics, the world is facing a new challenge. A world that also opens up to sustainable politics and economies and is discovering how it can incorporate international strategies, in order to change the course of discontent. But also a world that is facing the threat of lobbying groups and governments taking advantage of emergencies: lockdowns, Track and trace applications, face recognition technology, as well as potentially regulated health implementations such as vaccine passport, pharmaceutical industries covid medication battles, financial and corporate groups regulations control over countries politics, etc. are a reality. Thanks to internet access worldwide communities, single souls in remote locations or big cities can watch it in real-time, interfere or intervene. The rise of technology and the digital age still open up to a new world of remarkable possibilities for humanity, where information through social networks and multiple international platforms are available to all. New communication windows are open on global networking, allowing observation and resolutions of long-standing missing human rights. This through to the proper use of technology. Access to food for all, roof, and health is possible through the means of technology and AI. Information flows with new perceptions of a future, complementing what this technology already provides. A few successful examples show the way such new emerging traceability technologies can be positively used to curb food waste for example, because there is a connection between food loss, hunger, consumer demand, and climate change. IoT sensors, blockchains, and food-sensing technologies can reduce food loss by millions of tons if properly applied. Access to food for all, roof, and health is possible through the means of technology are in a possible future. Transitional environments of ecology, social discontent can be redirected to a fruitful and positive outcome. It will depend on how quickly and ethically countries will use these AI tools. pascale Rearte
